Hi all and happy hump day! So now that I have shed some of the baby weight I am actually enjoying getting dressed again and would love the challenge of a wardrobe Wednesday post to get me out of my pj's.

The other challenging thing is that if you follow me on Instagram then you have seen that I am reading The life-changing magic of tidying up by Marie Kondo. This means that I went through my wardrobe last week and am now down to a very minimalist wardrobe that I do not plan on adding to until after our big move. I have been wanting a smaller wardrobe for a while but was too lazy/scared to go through with it but now I am truly excited to see what I can come up with. I hope you will join me for this journey through my wardrobe. Here is this weeks outfit:

So I sort of impulse bought this shirt last week at Target and I sort of love it!

Have you ever done a minimalist wardrobe? Was it easy? Did you find your self just dying to shop? (I am already itching to go shopping. . . )

Baby Weight be Gone!

So I am all about celebrating the fact that my body did a pretty kick ass thing in growing and birthing our baby boy. However I am not about all the weight that the Mexican food and kickin' chicken placed on these hips. This is where Bikini Body Mommy comes in.

Four months ago I had a friend post a picture of her and her toddler post BBM workout and I had to know more. If you are interested this is the gist. Briana Christine founded BBM post pregnancy and had an amazing 100 pound weight loss in just under a year. Bikini Body Mommy is a great collection of short (20 minute) workouts set up in a 90 day challenge format. If you are looking for a quick way to fit in your workouts this is it and the best part is that Briana is so real. She struggles right along with you to crank out her reps. For me personally this is the best part. I feel like I am working out with a friend not some drill sergeant trainer.

I completed BBM 3.0 at the beginning of June and have since started 4.0. My results from 3.0 were a 7lb weight loss and a loss of 20 inches overall. Now that I have started 4.0 I am ready to set some more strict goals to really get this baby weight off. My weight loss goal is to be down 30 lbs by the end of 4.0 (I know this seems lofty but I want to aim high enough to really be challenged to stick with it) and be able to do 15 burpees without stopping.

So yes I realize that we now have a 14 month old (as of today) and this post is a little late. In my defense I tried to post it a month ago but the images would not show up. I think I have that little problem fixed so let me inundate you with images of our Teddy Bear Picnic first birthday!

I chose the theme because I mean how many times is Teddy really going to let me capitalize on his name and Teddy bears being synonymous? We were so fortunate to have amazing weather and to have everyone come from out of town to celebrate our little man. We really felt the love that day especially since we will not being living quite as close for next years festivities.
