Wardrobe Wednesday: 38 Weeks and Counting

Happy hump day. Since I post these weekly bump pictures on Wednesday that means technically I am 39 weeks today. Yay for being so close to meeting our little boy. I currently feel like a kid waiting on Christmas because I am so ready to meet him. We have yet another doctors appointment tomorrow morning so here's hoping for some good news and progression towards labor. If there isn't any then I will be being induced sometime next week. I am not really looking forward to the possibility of an induction but my asthma warrants it as a necessary precaution. (Got to keep the little man and I safe right?) Anyway here is my 38 Week  bump picture. Its crazy to think I may only be taking one more of these (maybe two if I remember to snap a 40 week shot before induction). This pregnancy has flown by in ways but in other ways it seems I have been pregnant forever!

Also since these are supposed to be wardrobe posts lets talk about that for a second. I think I have about five things that fit and are comfortable currently. So to say I am ready to not have to wear the same five things each week is an understatement. This dress however is one of my favorites and I think it will transition to postpartum life quite nicely.

Our Second Baby Shower

Good morning all! I hope your Monday is off to a good start. Today I just wanted to pop in and share a few pictures from our second baby shower hosted here at our home. Hence the deadline on getting as much done to the house as possible. It was wonderful to spend time with friends that we have not seen in awhile and to celebrate our little boy. We are so blessed that our little guy is loved by so many already.  Anyway here are some of the pictures from such a fun day!

The next few pictures are from a wonderful game that Joni found. Basically you had to put a ping pong ball between your knees and waddle down to a mason jar to deposit your ball. You can only imagine the hilariousness that ensued! Oh and the balloon was your preggo belly.

A little bit of Office Love

So we finally started tackling the beast that is our office. Our first step after cleaning it out was to take down the molding on the chalkboard wall. We are giving up the chalkboard that we hardly ever use in favor of building some awesome built in storage. Next I sanded and prepped the wall to be painted a fun accent color.

Here is the final reveal of how our office looks now. Hopefully with Jose's help I can get a post up about how we did the built-ins soon.

Wardrobe Wednesday: Same Dress Different Weeks

Hi all. First things first I hope you like the new layout! I think it makes things look much cleaner, don't you?

So most of you probably already saw my 37 week bump picture but here it is with my 35 week bump picture. As you can see I went for wearing he same dress just styled a little differently. (It was much warmer on the day I took my 35 week bump picture!) Hope you enjoy. Only three more weeks until we meet our little man (unless he decides to make his grand entrance a little early).

Maternity Pictures

Happy Tuesday everyone! I just wanted to share some of the amazing maternity pictures that we had made last Friday. I am so fortunate to have a wonderful co-worker who is a great photographer in her spare time. She was so gracious as to take these pictures of Jose and I.

Now I am not a huge proponent of maternity pictures. Mostly because at this point (37 weeks) I just feel fat and swollen. However Penny did such an amazing job that I am in love with all of them. So I'll just shut my mouth and get on with the picture sharing now.
