Ok so I know that it is not fall. You don't have to remind me that its still a blistering 80 something degrees with a humidity that is deadly here in the SC lowcountry. However with that said, fall is my FAVORITE time of year. Literally I go through depression when we do not get fall. I know for most people this would seem whiny since I live at the beach and should be thankful for the mild climates but I'm not. As much as I love the lowcountry I am over this whole one season thing (that season is summer for those of you reading that have never visited our little piece of paradise). Anyway I feel better after getting that off my chest, now lets move on to what this post is really about, my little fall project.

So in honor of my love for fall I have been pinteresting (not sure that's a word, but it is now in my book) fall and autumn things since around July. I know, I know I do it to myself with this whole love of fall but lack of fall thing here in the lowcountry. Anyway I ran across this little beauty while perusing pinterest one day and knew I just had to make it.
This blogger put together an awesome tutorial that I only tweaked a bit. I probably would not have tweaked it at all if it were not for my phone not really allowing me access to pinterest while standing in AC Moore deciding I just had to make this wreath this weekend. So I am not going to go through a whole tutorial, she does a great one, just follow her link on the picture. But I will gladly show you my finished project and tell you what materials I used. So without further ado here is the beauty:
The only thing I really did differently from her tutorial was to use tulle instead of the mesh ribbon. Also the back of mine is not a latch hook rug base. It's a rug pad that we had lying around and I decided to reuse it for this purpose. I hope this brings a little fall cheer to everyone's weeks and just for a bit more cheer I thought I would include some cute pics of our "babies" I took this week. Have a wonderful week!
Also would love to see pics or hear about any crafting adventures you guys have been on lately!
I love it!
