So here it is October already, anyone else feel as if 2012 is just slipping on by. Anyway I am proud to say that I am off to a great start with de-cluttering and organizing. Today I tackled the dreaded teeny hall closet. (It's not really that dreaded I just have a flair for the dramatic sometimes...) This thing has just been a mecca of collecting junk I do not know what to do with and now (even though some of that junk is still in residence) it is organized into nice bins that have pretty labels. (I think the pretty labels are what really do it for me) Now I can open this closet and find things with out fear of what may be lurking behind its teeny tiny door. All of the bins that I am going to be using this month were a steal from the dollar store and I am proud to say that I was asked if I was reorganizing my entire home since I bought so many at once. Oh to be that lady at the dollar store...

Have you guys jumped on the decluttering bandwagon. Or have you decided to live with it until January when everyone and their brother jumps on that bandwagon. Either way I would love to hear what you guys have been up to in preparation for the coming months of holidays and family time.
I love it! Who knew you could find cute bins at the Dollar Store?!
ReplyDeleteWe usually declutter this time of the year, because we can write it off on this year's taxes if we can donate stuff :)
ReplyDeleteFinding my way over courtesy of Nester's 31 days and I had to say that your blog title sucked me in. Pemberly indeed. I'm having a lot of fun just scrolling through your blog and that mirror project is amazing! I've been wanting to do that with a mirror we've got in our house....might have to get my hiney in gear. Thanks for the inspiration and can't wait to see what you've up your sleeves for the coming days. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Heather! I am glad you enjoyed your look around. We are still new at this so its always nice to hear encouraging words.
